I help people connect to their bodies through mindful exercise and movement.
My philosophy is that exercise should be pleasurable, not painful. I aim to create a non-judgmental and uplifting environment in which clients can experience the integration of body/mind/spirit and a deep sense of well-being.
My private practice, in Newton Center, MA, is based in the Gyrotonic Method of Exercise. I work with clients 1:1 on the Gyrotonic Pulley Tower and design sessions to suit the needs of each individual client.
I also teach 1:1 private online sessions via Zoom. Online sessions do not involve specialized equipment and can be done with a mat, chair, and a few simple props.
As a teacher and trainer, I draw on my background in modern dance and a wide range of mind/body disciplines, including the GYROKINESIS® Method, Bartenieff Fundamentals, and the Franklin Method.
I will resume in person 1:1 teaching on June 1, 2021. Online private sessions are available for anyone who prefers to work out from home.
